Because I am not sleeping. Because there is a SPIDER in my BED.

I was attempting to kill a freakishly large, gross, brownish-yellowish spider, the likes of which seem to be drawn to my house by the strangely magnetic force of fear. I grabbed about 18 tissues and attempted to grab the beast off the wall. In the process, it nearly scuttled onto my hand and then tumbled (meaning that it sensed my fear and disgust and threw itself) down the wall and into the folds of the blankets on my bed. I proceeded to do what any sane person would do faced with such a situation and tore from the room, grabbing a blanket from the closet on the way.

Which brings me back to the computer that I had just put to sleep to tell anyone who will listen about the pathetic situation I just found myself in, as well as to blog about it so that it would be documented forever, because I don't even now how that possibly happened, as this is real life, and not a hilarious movie.

I will now sleep downstairs for fear that the beast will suffocate me in the night.

Fuck spiders.

I've been home for more than a week now. After some intense all nighters and general insanity, I made it through with some really awesome things to show for it. My jerkface advisor was really proud of me and it felt awesome. Then I spent 2 hilarious days in the city with some friends, and now I'm back home. It's nice to just be around for a change. Leaving for Williamstown Theatre Festival on June 11th to paint and assistant design and probably get some coffee. I'm nervous. I hear good things though. Back on August 18th. Happy almost St. Patrick's Day?) As you can probably tell, I've been busy. Things have been going non-stop since I got to Boston. The semester in review: I was wary at first, no one was around just popping their head in to say hello like college kids supposedly do.

Eventually the rest of the people living at West Campus surfaced and I met a bunch of other design and production majors. Keren, the other designer in my really sweet quad is awesome and we're going to live together again next year. I got really lucky as roomates go. The actresses in my room are nuts and obnoxious at times, mostly Sophie, but it could be far worse.

Classes are a little nuts, projects immediately from the first class. It was scary being thrown right into everything like that, but it was the best way to go probably. Theatere Ensemble, one of my new classes for second semester is a big crazy-fest for 6 hours a week in which we writ terrible angsty poetry and are then forced to present it standing on our heads and crazy things like that. Definitely makes for good stories though.

Production on The Magic Flute wrapped up right before spring break (which is right now, I'm home by the way, if you're reading this, stop wasting time and call me!) and it was challening and exhausting, butalso fun and worth it. Nicole came and saw the show and we spent an exciting weekend running through the snowy streets of Boston and not doing very much. It was fun, but next time she comes I'll actually plan fun things for us to do.

And that's that in a nutshell. I know, months, and all you get are a few paragraphs, but really that's all there is. Life is better than I figured it would be looking ahead from this time last year and I'm glad about it. I saw The Wizard of Oz and everyone was awesome and I definitely got nostalgic for drama and all those people and things, but college is good too. Other than being severely sleep deprived a great majority of the time, I can't really complain. I'll try to update more often, if only with quick thoughts or something. Just to keep everyone interested. (Everyone meaning just Tessa...maybe.) Yay!

Well, it's been all summer. I've been busy with one thing and another, but mostly I'm just excessively lazy. Last time I wrote I was on my way to BU for orientation. That went well enough, at first I wasn't too thrilled, then I was happy, and now...well now I'm here. Moved in on Wednesday, met 2 out of 3 roomates so far. They seem nice enough and the room is pretty great, kind of hot, but otherwise. I was wary of being in a quad, but it's a nice space. So far I do like the school, location and atmosphere and stuff, but I'm still nervous about the program. Everyone seems kind of intense, but I'll figure out what I need to be doing. As you can tell, it's 9:00 on a Friday and I'm sitting in my room blogging, but I guess it'll just take time, I'm like that about making friends. This weekend is official move in though, so I'm hoping to meet a bunch of people. Mostly people that are already here have been busy with a volunteer program or orientation. Hoping for the best. Classes start on Tuesday. oyyy. wish me luck!

So it's been a long time. I kept meaning to write soemthing new, when the show ended to say how great it was and to inform anyone who might still check this that I have not in fact been eaten by lions or some such thing. The muscial was crazy as always, this time something that can really be called Hell week for me, painting (and building too I think) up until a half hour before show time, but I think it was all worth it. Great end to my drama career. Other than that, since then I've been busy with one thing and another. AP tests, final projects, modules, FSS show, the usual. Everything's been pretty good, senior activities, all that.

And now, today was my last day of school as a senior. It's weird, I'm excited but at the same time dreading it being all over. Yearbooks are being signed, love is being spread all around, it's very nice. But it's still sad. We all had a nice moment after school as Dr. Murphy shouted over the announcements that everyone was to be in their cars, on their buses, blahblah, just sitting around on stage, talking and hugging and yearbook signing, while Ricky played Billy Joel as usual. Cheesy on our part I guess, that we spent our last moments of high school sitting on a dark stage, but it's what we all really had to do. And then, I walk out of the doors and to my car for the last time and it just starts to rain, (how about that for symbolism?). It was a nice moment actually.
So, to make this last high school moment really final, I have to go pack because I leave early tomorrow morning for 3 day orientation at Boston University. (Wow, I never even put that in here, the whole college thing. Lots of tears in deciding, but what doesn't require tears with me? Still lots of doubts, feelings that I'll probably crash and burn, but I guess everyone's in the same boat, and we'll all make it.) So that's that, and I'm off to Boston.
More about that when I return.

Oh. My. God.

Man, my friends are pretty great. It was a very long and exhausting day, but so worth it. A couple of crowded hours on a bus to perform for 10 minutes seems crazy, but this time it was definitely worth it. We had a night performance, Exactly 8:02 accoridng to the USSBA. It was a cool experience to perform in the huge stadium under the lights and everything. Perfect weather despite threats of rain. No wind for once, no sun in our eyes. Color guard had finally finished their routines basically the day before, so we were all nervous, but it went well. Never flawless, but excellent nonetheless. No one dropped anything that I saw, the whole band looked great and sounded even better. Retreat was among the most ridiculous experiences of my life. We were all visibly shaking, Christine was muttering prayers under her breath, Denis and Ricky were counting off every band that got called that wasn't us. I've never been so close to passing out while standing still. Complete insanity. 4th place. Not out of 4, but out of 16. Overall score of 85.775. One of the best scores North Rockland has seen in years. And I got to be a part of it.
It's been a rough season. There have been good moments, but lots of frustration as well. After all of it though, it was completely worth it. We worked so hard and it all really turned out great. It's hard to believe it's over now. I'm definitely going to miss it next year, but I'm glad the seniors got to go out on such a high note. Thanks guys, you're all amazing, depsite what we like to say about each other on the bad days.

Ahh, been a while. See, that's because I've been off on a quest, slaying dragons and the like.

Sadly no. I've just been generally busy and insane. So to recap, school is basically good, not a terrible amount of work, but with lots of marching band and drama and newspaper things, it becomes really busy. Newspaper is crappy, struggling to get our first issue out STILL. Ick.
Harmony on the Hudson was pretty cool. It was sort of exciting to be hosting a competition. Only 4 other schools came, but eh, maybe next year. Because I'd definitely be back to watch.
Get Bill Shakspeare off the Stage wasn't too bad. Tech week was pretty awful, no one was quite ready, but it pulled together in the last few hours on Friday and turned out pretty well. None of my pictures really came out good which is sad, but oh well. Rehearsal on Halloween was really sad. Didn't get home until 10, then homework, so no trick or treating. Eww being older. There's always next year. At least I got to dress up for school. Mimes were pretty awesome. Sadly we didn't win, but I thought we looked really good. I have those pictures, so I'll put one up soon.

Mhmm, so it's two days into the school year, and I've already lost my mind. No particular reason, but it's happened. I'm happy with my schedule, classes should be fun. Some challenging, others mindless, but a good balance. Marching band's already going, first game Saturday, drama and newspaper starting next week. Things are going to get busy quite soon, I think. It should be fun though.
Practice today was ok, but the high point goes like this
Me: Guys, come on, we need to work, if we don't get done with this he's gonna eat us alive.
Meg: With cheese.
Me, Meg, and Becky: And fat guys love cheese!
And then we all sprawl out on the floor and laugh ourselves silly for 5 minutes. Then it's all downhill from there.
I love the colorguard. That was a pretty hysterical night.
I think it's going to be an interesting year.

Did you know that Copper Crayola Crayons (say that three times fast!) turn blue-green on the outside just like pennies do when left out in the air for a long time? It happens to Gold ones as well.
(And I mean a LONG time, a few years, so I'm not sure anyone else will have observed this. Tara, Nicole, and I saw Dashboard at Radio City last night, and it was a really lovely concert. We've seen them live a few times, and they're always getting better, playing for more and more people, but still making it feel like a nice, personal show. It was a really excellent mix of old and new stuff, and as always, the audience got to feel a big part of the show.
Ben Lee and Say Anything opened the show. Ben Lee is wonderful. Very charming on stage, you just can't help but enjoy him. Say Anything, not so much. They're your basic group of guys convulsing and playing instruments while one guy convulses and swings a microphone around. Some of that type of thing I take to, but I just wasn't into Say Anything. Maybe because they were in such contrast to lovely Ben Lee and Dashboard with all their presence.
Really excellent evening overall though. Got in some good people watching, especially with the group in front of us who really loved them some Dashboard Confessional. A bit funny, but good for them.
Excellent. Go buy Ben Lee's newest CD.

I love MuggleCast! There's been way too much rain for my tastes lately, but eh.
Fireworks are fun, as is no work at my nonjob for Fourth of July. Been doing mostly nothing lately, which is nice, but about as exciting as it sounds. I saw Cars! I thought it was good. Kids movie, but also with jokes for those of us only pretending to be kids. Work is boring, but there are worse things I could be doing, so not complaining. No barbecue or anything planned for tomorrow. Tessa goes to Europe on Wednesday, I wish I were going! Ahh!
Yankee game on Saturday. Quite a loss to the Mets, but a nice day nonetheless. Hot and sunny, but not unbearable, and we were under the upper deck so it was shady. A few of those foul balls made me nervous, but luckily no black eyes. Just a few feet away from being on the jumbo-tron (I've always wanted to use that word. Is that actually what they call it in real life?), but we managed to avoid the camera. It was fun to watch the people on screen and then pick them out in the real crowd. Maybe that was only me though. Yay!
Yea that's it.
Go here
for more of me if you dare...

School is overrrrr! Did nothing for a week, drama picnic, but it was hot and me, Amy, and Andrew attempted to see a movie instead, but it didn't work. Oh well, interesting day nonetheless.
American regents, easy and I was so close to 100, but I think I messed up one multiple choice at least. So we'll see. But yay, it's done.
Barricaded myself in my house and then Meag's house and studied physics for like 15 hours. Crazy, but I guess it paid off. Some parts of the test were hard, but it was easier than last year's, which I took as a practice. Last year's was really hard, so I guess they modified it, which was nice. I might've pulled off something decent even without the curve. Which is good because if I'd done as miserably on it as I did on the practices I took after all the freaking out and complaining to everyone I talked to, I think I would've cried (more lol). Many apologies to everyone, and I mean everyone b/c no one escaped it, who had to listen to me complain. So that's that, and I'm free!
I have to observe that you know you have real friends when one will sit with you for an hour and make up stories about cake and your dog pimping out your car, just to help you understand physics.
Happy summer!

So in review:
Bamboozle was friggin' ridiculous. I'm a dork for having been in an actual mosh pit and loving it. So awesome. Saw Relient K!!!!!! Spill Canvas, Mae, Rocket Summer, lots of other people. Meaghan and me danced right in the middle of a giant empty space in the parking lot and people stared. Nice!
A bunch of stuff happened between then and now that I can't really remember. School has been ok, physics is hard, but I think I'll be ok with some studying. Spring concerts and jazz band concert were good. My schedule got sorted out kind off. I've been named Editor-in-Chief for the paper next year which is exciting. Seniuor issue comes out tomorrow. Next year that's my class. Insaaaane. Things are winding down, yearbooks are out, books are getting turned in and all. Ashley is helping me get a job this summer, trying to convince people to come in for chiropracter appointments or something to that effect. Not quite sure, but more on that when I know. Doesn't sound very exciting or like it'll be experience for my later career possibilities or anything, but it'll be something to do while the majority of other people I know are working away. Mafia fun yesterday, marching band picnic today.
And that's really it. Lame. Oh well. Yay almost summer!

It's been a pretty good couple of weeks. Vacation, did a lot of homework, but still got to just hang out. Went back on Thursday, Six Flags with physics. Friday, left for Boston with marching band. Came home late Saturday. Sunday, caught up on homework. School was nothing too exciting, review for AP English and History tests. Hard to believe they're coming up so soon, but here we are. Friday, Junior Dance. Kinda wanted to go, kinda wanted to believe I was just way to cool for that. (Um no not at all) Had a really nice time. Danced, looked ridiculous, went to the diner, played mafia, slept-ish, breakfast and silliness. All in all, lots of fun, despite my best efforts to be all look how badass I am, no prom for me blahblah dumb. I love all my friends. Maybe a picture or two to follow.
So that's all, just an update to show I haven't fallen into a gaping chasm. I'm just boring. I used to update with the boring almost every day, now I spare you guys.
By the way, I'm late but back on the 25th, Happy Sixteenth Birthday Andrew! Yay!

I could've sworn I updated after the last show, but I guess not. Second weekend of shows went well. Lauren got sick and I felt bad, but she's ok. Congrats to Christine b/c I heart her! Fun after at Brehmer's and Christine's. Twister and DDR! Saturday we had to clean out the trailers b/c there's toxic mold in them or something. So I did marching band and then that and got a sunburn. Not cool, it's mostly gone today though. Sunday we took everything but the carriage and the columns apart because we are keeping those pieces. Everyone kind of ditched the whole strike thing, which the adults were not happy about but eh. Wasn't the right thing to do, but w/e, stuff got done. Cast party was kinda lame, but we did get to play some mafia and some frisbee. Nici needs to organize a mafia night b/c we haven't had one in a while. It's sad that drama is over as always. After all the crap, the show didn't turn out half bad, we made a lot of money to go towards next year's productions, and we even had some fun. It feels weird though because we didn't work as long on this show as the last two years, so I feel like it's too soon for it all to be done with. I guess it's a good thing though, I was so tired this week, I don't know if I could've made it through anymore loooong rehearsals. Anyway, yay drama!
Happy St. Patrick's Day! The parade is Sunday and we have practice tomorrow, plus I'm volunteering at the SIT fair for science honor society. After that I'm probably going to go look for a dress for the junior dance. Bleh shopping, but cool if I find something nice, ya know. Yay day off! Bye!

Hola! Been busybusybusy working on Cinderella. Things were really shaky because of limited time and weather and a random blackout, but the first two shows went pretty well. Sets look pretty good. They're not as gradiose (sp? That's a good word for it though)as Into the Woods or Les Mis, but they're still nice. People seemed to enjoy it and all the little kids were adorable. Parties afterwards were fun. Goodness only knows why but I even danced. Andrew too. Way proud of him hehehe. Thanks and congrats to everyone!
If you missed it, come to Cinderella next weekend. NRHS Auditorium Fri. March 10 and Sat. Went to a par-tay and played some hardcore games a Twister. Ruthie is a formidable opponent, I must say.
Ridiculous amounts of snow the next day, so did nothing. Monday, woke up, showered, dressed, put waffle in toaster, found out there was a delay. Napped on couch for an hour, went to school. I went on a massive candy run after school for valentine's day. Got a bunch of those icky candy hearts, mmm.
Today, woke up at 5 to 7. No idea how that happened, I think the batteries in my clock ware dying. So I got ready really quick and went to school. Gave out lots of candy, ate lots of candy. Not a bad day. Andrew's my favorite :-)
Drama is underway. Damn styrofoam. Painting stuff is starting tomorrow.
Woohoo!

Heyy. An extra day added to vacation? Fine by me. Though I did get intensely bored towards the end of the day.
When I woke up this morning, about 15 minutes early, no idea why, My So-Called Life was on, which is aways awesome. Diglio had a 6 foot pole up his ass today because we slacked off the last few days before vacation. He has little kids and it was just Christmas, I can't understand how he's that unpleasant. Anyway, the rest of the day was fine. It was nice to get back to school and see people again. I was tired of looking at index cards and my computer desk. Jeez I'm boring.
Musical got announced today, it's Cinderella. Call-backs tomorrow, cast list Friday, crew applications due, blahblahblah. Excited to get started, but I hope issues from the striaght show will be fixed.
Alumni Day tomorrow. Cool, hopefully visitors will interuppt classes all day. I love that.
Look at me, all update-y. Jk
So it's Christmas vacation, yay! Christmas was good, food and relatively un-annyonig family. With the exception of Mr. Diglio, the week leading up to Christmas was excellent :-) Birthday and all was fun, though 17 isn't very exciting.
So now I've just spent the week working on silly index cards for history. Not difficult, but boring. Oh well.

Oh yea, the show! It sucked leading up to it, but by the end it pretty much pulled together. The show went well as far as I heard, since I was at You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. They were actually surprisingly good. So now it's leading up to musical time. Dramadramadrama surrounding it, so hopefully it'll be ok. Ugh. Anyways, not much to say, the end.

Woo! Ok Thanksgiving, good food, snow flurries, nothing too exciting.
School is fine, marching band ended with an unexpected loss against Monroe. Drama isn't great, but it'll be ok I guess. The show is Dec. 9, 10, and 11 and it's "Allocating Annie." Comedy about a plastic surgeon and a monkey. Or something. I'm not quite sure.
Went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire last night. Overall it was good, but as always I had some issues with it. Didn't like the Death Eater costumes. Don't like the way Dumbledore is played. Not in comparison to Richard Harris's Dumbledore, but according to the way he's written in the book, he's too rough in this movie. I didn't like the scene where Moody showed the Unforgiveable Curses, it just didn't feel like I thought it should. Didn't like what Dumbledore said to the champions right before they went into the maze and I didn't like that they took the obstacles out of it. I didn't like that they tried to end the movie on a happy tone with everyone smiling because really, someone just died and the evilest wizard EVER is back. I'm not really feeling a smile.
However, not to be a complete downer, I liked Harry/Cho interaction, it was cute evne though she annoys me in general. And nearly everone was attractive, which can never hurt. I was amused by the band in the stands at the last task, although they completely made that up. In any case, I liked GOF in general and I can't wait to see how the next one turns out. Back to american history. The End.

Today was a-mazing. Game at New Rochelle. And it needs to be said, NR _killed_ them. It was a really good game, 24-0 and very exciting. It was sorta gross, but still intensly awesome.

Amy and I lost our minds somewhere between Ricky's house and McDonald's.
And I have to say, I think that's great.

Haven't updated in a while. Been pretty busy with school and marching band and such. We did our first competition like 2 weeks ago-3rd out of 3. Not a huge surprise there, we'll be better by next comp. which is on Nov. 6 and you should all be there. NR's football team is doing awesome this year and we're going to New Rochelle on Tues. for the second post-season game.
School is ok, busy but not ridiculous. First issue of the paper came out on Friday. I'm pleased with most of the articles in my section and we even finally have some good photos. Drama is getting going a little bit. That's not really to my liking right now, but we'll see how it goes.
Tons of homework this weekend, but I'm through with everything that's due on Monday, now it's just projects and stuff, so I decided to go over to Meghan's for scary movies. Watched Amityville Horror and Saw. Neither were terribly scary, just a little jumpy. I had a really good time though, fun and movies and really good thoughts. Maybe I'll go do some more history questions, later!

Yay for days off!! I got to do homework and sleep and have fun. I was sad b/c Andrew was trapped in Party City for 2 straight days, but I still got to hang out with Amy and Tessa for a girls only-fat kid adventure haha. I had to walk around the mall with a stain on my shirt b/c I'm a slob, but it was still fun. Got new perfume b/c I'm silly and lost mine somewhere. Amber romance = love and Amy = my favorite. I love Friday's (the restuarant. And the day too come to think of it). And days off. Which we have 2 more of next week. Yes!
The only things I don't love are Diglio and people who are still goofing off with only 2 weeks until our first competition. Cross your fingers that we pull it together. That's all, just thought I'd give a quick update b/c I had some free time and some awesome-ness to write about.

Woohoo, the color guard is my favorite!! Went out tonight with Meghan, Becky, and Lauren. Such awesome times. It started out being a whole huge group, but then it diwndled down to just us, which was kinda funny, but still cool. Had fun. We were gonna see Just Like Heaven(I think that's the name, ya know w/ Reese Witherspoon), but then we started talking and realized we couldn't sit in the movies quietly, so we walked around and talked until like 11:30. Everything is shutting down and lights are flickering and we're playing the bean game and laughing our way to rock-hard abs. I love those girls. Not just b/c they're my color guard but b/c they're all awesome in their own way. Anyone interested in getting a whole big group and hanging out next weekend? I tried twice this weekend to make like giant-group o' people plans and it didn't work. I haven't had one of those kind of nights in a while, and I think it'd be fun. Yay for fun, tomorrow is all about homework. Meh, but oh well whatcha gonna do? In my first 3 days, I managed to leave my history textbook somewhere, go to the wrong class for 6th period (almost 2 times) and put a hole in one of the music dept. ceiling tiles w/ a 6 foot flag pole. Yea dude, I rock. None of those things are actually big deals, just saying that they happened.
Teachers all seem nice, except for Diglio. Not really sure what to make of him. He's one of those people who I kinda wanna hate, but I don't really have a viable reason for doing so. We'll see. Anderson seems a little like 'duhhh what?' but still a nice guy. first football game was Friday, the varsity team won against Suffern 34 to nothing I think. Marching band did ok. Had some issues, but it'll get worked out. After half-time I left and went to Val's Sweet 16. Soo much fun! I looked like an idiot dancing and blahblah, but had a good time. Also, used my magnificent skillzzz to change out of my band uniform (which I wore to school on Friday basically b/c Powers said I wouldn't do it. So of course we had to.) and into stockings and a dress, AND put on make-up, including mascara and eyeliner, all in my dad's moving car. I'm pretty damn amazing.
Today my schedule got changed so I'm now in music theory, wooo!! Apparently it was changed on Friday, but no one bothered to tell me and I sat in study hall instead. Thanks NRHS guidance. Bleh. But at least I'm all set now. Math homework waiting to be done, byeee!!

Took Nici down to her apartment/dorm thing last Sunday. It was quite an ordeal which involved angry mom, angry dad, 13 flights of stairs and some rain. We got a speeding ticket on the way down and then the cop tried to make nice conversation. Kinda funny. Then we got down there, I opened the trunk and Nici's printer fell, splat, (maybe more like Crrnklrnk), out of the car. It still works, but it wasn't good. We went up and down the stairs a couple of times, but 13 flights is FAR, so we gave up and started waiting on the long line for the elevator. Finally got everything upstairs and sorta organized. Met Nici's roomates. They all seem nice, so that's cool. I took a bunch of pics and stuff. Check that out over here: Moving Day! It's sorta weird without Nici here, but I think it hasn't really been obvious that she's gone yet. (If that makes any sense) It'll probably be strange when school starts and it's just me getting ready in the morning. The las time it was like that was about 4th grade, when Nici has started at Willow Grove. When I was in HMS and she was in high school, we still overlapped in the morning. that'll be odd. At least I don't have to microwave those gross hot pockets for her in the morning. Nasty. It's ok, I'll forgive her.
Nearly done with all my english summer assignment crap. Yay! In denial about going back to school. Bleh. It'll be ok though. This was a really blah entry. Oh well, I'll end it now, so no dies of boredom.

Wow, I'm posting so soon! But I have to because the past 2 days have been absolutly awesome!!
Tuesday and Wednesday, I was kinda frustrated with how things were going for the color guard w/ drill and routines and everything, but things really turned around for Thursday and today. We were very productive, and the routine for Uptown Girl is nearly complete. The drill is looking pretty good too. Very different from last year and recent videos I've seen. I like it.
So yesterday, Amy (who is sooo ungodly cool) drove me home, and she and Andrew came to say bye to Nici, then we talked about old Nick shows and other myriad things and went for pizza at Cicero's. Mmm and yay! Then after that, I went over to Meags for s'mores and other junk food and I Love the 80s. Yay Tivo and yay Meags and Christine!! Mmm [sorta] taffy. Hahaha good times. "I got you a present. Just because it looks like crap, doesn't mean it is"
Today was insanely productive at camp. Yesss!!! Then I went to the mall w/ Amy, Andrew, Denis, and Tessa. I love those guys. We went to Hollister to get Andrew cologne and Amy and Tessa almost died. And to Best Buy, and that weird store next to it where everything is super cheap and we saw some shirt that had a ridiculous sexual inuendo on it and we were all kind of freaked out lol. Random other places, then to Stir Crazy where we ate a ton of food and had great conversations b/c they are all awesome. Then we were heading for Barnes and Noble, but of course felt the need to stop at coldstone b/c we're fat kids. So that was yummy. And we ran into Eric which was cool b/c I haven't seen him since the end of school. Said hi and what not, then ate ice cream even though we all claimed to be full from previous meal. Funny how we spent so much time doing nothing but eating. Then Barnes and Noble where I bought Phantom of the Opera and Wizard's Holiday, finally. I love a group of people who can come to the bookstore w/ me and still have fun. Then we went back to Amy's and played texas hold'em w/ fake money for a while. I don't get it!! So confusing, but still fun. So that's all. Amy is my favorite, and I love the past 2 days!!!

First day of band camp went pretty well. Afterwards spontaneity ensued.
First Nici and Liz wanted to go to the Renaissance Faire. But that's only on weekends. So then we decided to go up to Bear Mountain and go to the zoo. But once we got up there it was closed. Even though they said it closed at dusk. 4:30 isn't dusk in the summer. But fine, be that way. So then we sat in the car for a while and tried to come up with something else spontaneous we could do. We thought of Doodletown, but even after making some phone calls for directions and such, we couldn't figure out how to get there. Next idea was to go to the park and go one the swings. Me, Nici, Liz and Denis were looking forward to some little kid fun, but then as we pass the sign for Doodletown again, and scowl at it for not giving us directions, Liz notices and opening in the trees right near the sign! So we park on the side of 9W and go check it out. Lo and behld, it's the entrance to Doodletown! Yay! So we start up the trail. It's pretty steep, and there isn't much to see. Kind of depressing, since it was described to me as a gohst town. i thought I'd see more. There were some signs and some old foundations. Further along, there's supposed to be a cemetary, but we decided to turn back about a quarter of the way up. We were not quite attired for a spontaneous hike through the woods. We may decide on some planned spontaneity and go all the way up the trail some time though. I like local history and that sort of thing, so it was fun for me, even though it was slightly disappointing after the craziness of finding it. Yay for today!!

Updating!!
~Whenever Nici had people over for Mafia-First time I got something other than townsperson.
~Wednesday-First ever trip to the beach. Thanks to Julianne and her family. Didn't get very far into the water though. We were gonna go, then Julianne got tossed around by a wave and we chickened out. Must go again and be brave.
~Thursday-First ever trip to Six Flags. Waited in line for 3 hours. Went on Kingda Ka. Obviously, very tall and very fast. Very cool. I look absolutly horrified in the photo, but I did have fun. Then we went on Houdini's Great Escape, which was a total pansy ride, but still awesome. Then we went home. Slightly disappointed that we didn't get to go on all the roller coasters and stuff, but I suppose that just gives me an excuse to go back and do more.
~Friday-First time I had to try to parallel park. It wasn't that hard. The very first one I did was pretty good, as was the second, but on the third I sorta spaced. Annoyingteacher was all snarky at me (funny, I do it to everyone else and normally I don't care if people do it back to me, but he just annoys me. Oh well, only a couple more lessons and I'm done), and I actually almost said something rude back to him, but luckily I stopped b/c that probably wouldn't have been well recieved.
~Also Friday-First time seeing Don Juan Demarco. Although as always w/ Tessa, we talked through all of the movie anyway lol.
That's about all. Almost done w/ all my summer assignment crap. Band camp starts Monday. I think I finally nailed right-handed rifle spins tonight. Yes! Pretty good at left-handed ones as well. Gotta progress to the double time ones, hopefully tomorrow so I have them ready for camp. Added a bunch of Instant Star music to my iPod. I love The-N!!!
*Ohh, 11:11! Odd Men Out Tour date at Prospect Park, Brooklyn. Last Thursday. It was completely awesome. Cute and Austrailian Ben Lee. Flaming Rufus Wainwright in his sparkly sandals. And then of course, awesomely awesome Ben Folds. Played some of the older songs that I love as well as new ones which I love already. It was my, Nici, Tessa, her sis Lisa and her friend Taryn. We had a really good time. Ben Folds covering Bitches Ain't Shit (Yes, Dr. Dre). Couldn't be better.

School schedules came. I'm not thrilled with mine because I don't have sound and I have 2 study halls on A days. Today's kind of summer weather is yucky though b/c it's hot and humid, but too dull and gray for swimming or sitting outside b/c it's too boring out. The past couple of days have been excellent weather though. Sunday was Mike's graduation party, lots of fun :-) Monday went to Fiesta Cancun w/ Nici and Tara, mmm tacos. Then watched The Italian Job w/ Joe, Mike, and Kaileigh. Mike and Joe w/ their car obsession, soo silly. Swimming and such w/ Tara and Nici yesterday. Nici got sunburn, but I didn't, woohoo!
Actually did start some of my summer assignments for English. I've done a few journal entries, printed a couple of columns, but haven't written responses yet, and read 40 pages of An American Childhood. It's a start. Not a great one, but a still.

HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE!!!! RELEASED ON FRIDAY AT MIDNIGHT!!!!!! CAN NOT WAIT!!!
Ok I'm done. Aren't I special? Ohh yea.

Sooo it's summer. Not terribly exciting. I didn't get off my lazy butt and find myself a job, so I'm just hanging around. Since summeer started, I've re-read The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, all 5 Harry Potters, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and Quidditch Through the Ages, played a million games of Tetris, and talked to Andrew into the wee hours of the morning, for no reason except that I can. One day, I went for a jog w/ Meags. It was fun, but I think she prefers to go on her own. The whole physical activity thing actually made me feel good, so maybe I'll stop being lazy and go on my own. We'll see.
Uhhh, grades came, good stuff. Math regents got way curved. Interesting, I think. If it's sooo important, why can they just change the grades to make the statistics look better? Doesn't make sense, but maybe I'm not seeing the point.
I'm looking around my house looking for something to read instead of summer reading. Booo. My plan is to start it soon, and try to get through one book before HBP, which is in 12 days!!! I've gotta do the whole editorial and summer journal thing too. Blahblahblah. My horoscope for tomorrow says I don't have to start tomorrow though. Really it does, look -- "Still not in the mood for anything that even remotely resembles work? Good for you. It's about time." I like that.
Summer makes for boring days and boring posts, that's that.

Whatupwhatup? One down, four to go. Today was English. Cake...with frosting, just like I was hoping. The rest of my tests are Regents so they might suck a little bit more, but it'll be ok, I think [hope]. Went to review class things all freaking day today, funn.
Yesterday was the last day of classes. Both happy and sad. Some things this year were ridiculous and I couldn't wait for them to be over, at least at the time. Thinking back, I'm sad to see this year go, it was good overall. And plus it meant goodbyes to any of the seniors I know, which is sad, but it'll be ok. There's still summer. As of now my junior year schedule is shot to hell, but maybe I'll be able to fix it. That'd be nice. Right now though, I can't do anything about it, so to end up this little post, Bring it on summer!!

SAT II in Chem sucks. Yay summer!
School is winding down pretty fast. I know you're all counting down, someone give me a number. Review review review is what school is all about. Quite exciting. Italian speaking was pretty easy. Ceramics is in class and it will be cake. With white frosting. Almost done w/ my last project for that, so yay for naptime period. Hopefully all the Regents I have to take won't be too bad.
Drama meeting yesterday, elections next week. I hope a good group of people get picked. Picnic in a few weeks too. Honors breakfast, Spring Concert part II. We got our first practice Regents in Euro. That was actually nice. I was able to answer questions easily. It was nice to feel like wow I know this, instead of those damn AP questions that I am never sure of.
I updated my iPod to contain an obscene amount of Christmas music. Yess!
Last night I went to Danbury HS to see Seussical the Musical w/ James, Tessa, Tim, and Eric b/c one of James's friends runs their program. Some of the kids from Danbury came during Into the Woods to check out our show. They all seem nice, although kinda weird, but in a different way from our crew. The set was simple, but good for the show, and really cool nonetheless. Bright and colorful and fun. And also, their choreography was amazing. They had so many talented dancers, or else they were all really good at faking it. Kinda long car rides to and from the show, so of course hilarity ensued. Wow, I love those guys. (including Tessa, who's not actually a guy, but you know what I mean.)We got back w/ perfect timing to meet the kids that were at Dorney Park. I wish I could've gone, it sounded like a lot of fun, although I'm glad I got to see Seussical b/c I was really skeptical about the whole Dr. Seuss set to music-thing. But I enjoyed it, so that's always good.
Booo rainy weather. I want summer! On Tues. it's pick-up day for school rings, I hope mine turned out nice, I like what I picked. I'm gonna run out of fingers to wear rings soon. And it's the jazz band concert, so that should be good. And we only have 3 and a half days of school. Nice. I'm pretty sure there's no way I'll shove myself into a leotard for a little recital thing, but I still want to take the classes. Yay Mrs. Peterson!
Went over Christine's house b/c I'm finally NOT at home studying for history.
Play uncoordinated tennis with Becky, Mike, and Tessa. Played fake doubles against Raj and his friend. I'm awesome. Except not.
Heart walk with the marching band. Icky weather, humid and bleh, but oh well. Got smacked in the face with a flagpole. Kinda hope I get a bruise so I can tell everyone how I got in a fight with some girl. "Man, she was huge and tough. I was afraid for my life, but I escaped with just this bruise." Ooh yea, it's believeable.
And, to backtrack b/c I didn't do this on the correct days- Happy Birthday Ricky (7th), Tim (11th), and Mr. Powers (12th)!!!!

Ok ok update time. Last time I wrote it was before Florida. So to review- it was awesome! I had a really great time. Warm weather, Disney World, my friends, it was wonderful! Then we got back and...it wasn't so awesome anymore. AP craziness completely took over and I did nothing but study between the time we got back and Friday morning. Stress, worry, blahblah. But then I took the test and it wasn't utterly horrible. But w/e, I'm free, I'm free. Not a whole lot to say, just wanted to check in so Andrew would get off my case, jeez! Hehe.
Summer's getting closer and closer, can't come soon enough really. I worked really hard for two weeks so I'm pretty much maxed out on effort for a while. Need a vacation. That's about all for now.
68 Days until Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince!!

Still beautiful weather! They're pretty pathetic, someone taped off of Nick and The-N with the commercials edited out, but it's the thought that counts right? And they work, which is really the point.
Me and Meags were amazing on Friday and flew a kite {well, tried to}, played horrible badmiton (sp?), and the worlds worst attempt at hackey sac, we're too great for words, so I'll end it there.
Finally finished Wicked after a million years!! Thursday night, we went to Maroon 5 and The Donnas!! At Radio City Music Hall!!! It was great! The Donnas were totally cute, like look how rocker chick I am. But for a girl band, they were surprisingly un-whiny. I liked them a lot. And then Maroon 5, ooh so good. All the stuff from their CD is awesome, plus covers of Roxanne by The Police, and a song from Pink Floyd and one from Neil Young, I've heard them, but don't know titles, I thought they were good covers. Alie's mom says so too, and she was a fan of the originals so that's saying something. Yay!!
Oh, I would personally like to thank the three girls sitting in front of us for all the woo-ing and turning around to see if Alie and I were reacting to it. Thanks for the dirty looks, and trying to trip us on the way out. Oh and most of all for telling Alie "you're ugly don't talk" when she rolled her eyes at you after she saw you stick your foot out, girl in the silly looking turquoise shirt. Sorry if our smiling and having a good time ruined your concert experience, but you certainly made ours wonderful!

Andrew is extremely clever lately, so he gets a cookie. For once we all kept a secret and it turned out really well. Saturday night Mike had a some people over for his birthday and it just goes to show at 18 you're not too old for video games lol.
Today is Yankees opening day against the Red Sox. Yesss baseball is back!!
School isn't too exciting. Nothing much going on w/o drama, which is both nice and boring. Only big news for me is that Florida trip is coming up! So excited!! Over all the show was amazing! Congratulations everyone!! Seniors, I've already cried over it, so I'll just say, they'll be missed, and leave it at that. Thanks to everyone who let us invade for cast parties. Yay drama!!!
Drama was basically all that went on between then and now. I spent the last couple of days finally getting sorta caught up with all the work I didn't do. Last weekend was the end of the show and the start of parade season for marching band. The St. Patrick's Day parade was really annoying. We were outside for a million years in the rain and cold, but it went pretty well once we got moving, so it's ok. Still sucked though, I missed most of strike, but Tessa took some pics and stuff for me, so at least I have them anyway. Yay Tessa!
Went on a fat kid adventure w/ Tom after school. He was like I'm bored, let's go get food, so we went to Wendy's and ate in the parking lot. Ugh that is WAY too North Rockland for me lol. But still, yay Tom!
Reading To Sir, With Love for English. Seems ok so far, but I'm only on page 30 so I dunno. Any thoughts? That's all, nothing too exciting going on. It's snowing again, yuckk.

Hi there, sorry for no posts. Hopefully you didn't miss me too much. The musical is getting closer and closer, so things have gotten pretty busy. Vacation was very drama-filled. I spent all of my time working on the mountain of homework I had to do (which I still didn't manage to finish until this morning) and going to crew. Except for the few hours I spent at the mall with Meaghan, and I got a pair of jeans and played on the dance-game thing in the arcade. It's fun, but waay harder than it looks!
Even though I haven't had enough time to update, I've been taking a minute to check out the very interesting conversations going on in the comments on my last post, and I wanna say I love it! Comments are cool, even ones that aren't actually directed at me.
Yesterday was the mall performance and I really enjoyed it and I think everyone was excellent! And I got another pair of jeans on sale, which means I now own pants that are my size, yess! After the mall was Ashley's Oscar Part-ay. I got to get dressed up-ish and I had a good time. Yay Ashley!
Today we had early dismissal even though it didn't even start snowing until after school would've been over. I don't mind though, because we got to have drama time anyway and I'm now done early enough to update, niice. And...that's all really.

Heyy there! Teachers hated me this weekend and I had a ton of homework, but I got it all done, go me! English was flippin awesome this week, we had an entire lesson on commua use, it's utterly disgusting how excited I was about this. "I've never seen you this happy" -Mr. Armida. He might let me teach a grammar lesson, and I can't wait. God I'm pathetic. Speaking of english, it's research paper time. Ahh! But my topic is type awesome so hopefully it won't be too bad. Beatlemania, no joke. We listened to the song We Didn't Start the Fire and picked topics from there, interesting idea, right? I thought so at least. Completely passed out in math 2 times this week, not so good.
Ooh, Thursday, Tom had me crimp his hair, which is why he's awesome! Lol it looked...interesting. Thursday began the process of my voice disappearing, which was worsened by Friday night when I went to Ashley's house to celebrate her Sweet 16!!! We totally rocked out to some old school NSYNC and Spice Girls, so much fun!!! We heard Liz's excellent rendition of Over the Moon, which reminds me, Coffeehouse tomorrow night in the auditiorium, be there!
So continuing on the disappearance of my voice, got to school 8:30 on Sat, after getting to bed around 12:30 the night before. Me and Becky did mb rehearsal b/c Nici and Morgan had drama, go us! Except that meant I had to talk and go outside and practice marching for an hour and a half, plus all the stuff we did inside. Then crew, where I proceeded to inhale lots and lots of styrofoam. Gotta love it. Then went to a movie w/ Andrew, probably should've stayed home and not talked, but what can I say, I'm dumb lol.
We saw Boogeyman and I'm a chicken. It wasn't really scary, like it's something that is completely unrealistic so you can't say well be afraid b/c it might happen. It had plenty of shock value though. Lots of me going *gasp* *jumps 3 feet in the air* And a lot of what made it scary were the crazy camera angles and the transitional stuff that they did. Like you're watching stuff from obscure corners and things so it had a really eerie feeling. Then at the end the boogeyman looked kinda like one of the skeleton pirates from POTC so I was like ok that wasn't quite scary. Overall very good though. Go see it. Next I still wanna see White Noise and Hide and Seek, but that one looks waaay creepy. Mmhmm, gotta get all my stuff for school tomorrow, so I'm done, bye!!

Happy Monday everyone!! Only two weeks till vacation, whatwhat! Everwood is on and as everyone knows, it's awesome so go watch! So the FSS show is over, it was...cute. The kids really pulled it together in the end and it turned out pretty well. Alissa is the awesome-est spot-op everr! Went to the cast party after their show even though I felt stupid. It was way louder than any of the other cast parties I've been too, and lemme tell you- PSA to those Fieldstone kids... it's dancing, not sex, there should be a difference, especially based on the fact that half of those kids are only about 13, jeez lol. Anyway...this past week has brought up some stuff which makes my head hurt. And speaking of headaches, I think I'm getting a cold, for which I fully intend to blame the Fieldstone kids, even though it's really not their fault, it's just because it's winter. But still 'damn them, damn them to hell with the pit orchestra!'(TM Andrew.)
Tomorrow's the Music Honor Society/Solos and Ensembles concert, which is one of my favorite ones of the year, and so everyoner should come to it! Ok, it's time for Hannah/Bright stuff on Everwood and that equals AWW, so it's time to go!

Heyy! Sent home from school early because of a power outage. That's cool. I forgot to put my phone on silent so Nici was off seeing Fiddler on the Roof and she called me so there's Merry Old Land of Oz going off in the middle of math class. Totally hilarious. I was just like ...my fault.
Ohh hip-hop in gym is great lol. There farther along we go in this dance, the harder it is to be white and still be able to do it. I'm like ok white kids can't move like that, can't we just do yoga? It's fun though, hehe.
Midterms grades are back, they're all pretty good, so yay! Only a semester to go til summer! My Macbeth soundtrack for English class was beyond awesome! I loved doing that project. And we've come to the conclusion that my life needs a soundtrack that includes all the random noises I make. You watch, it'll be on the top of the Billboard charts.
Friday I was off, and I get a call from Andrew asking if I can go to FSS drama, I'm like ...err no, lol. But I wound up going and oh boy, it was interesting. Alissa is cool, she quiet, but nice, she listens to what you ask her to do and so she's doing pretty well. Other spot kid, his name is Dan. He's def. got ADD. Like really, he was running in circles around the spot and jumping around and climbing up and down the ladder to the room. I was like jeez calm down. So after 3 days he was like w/e I'm not doing this and so now there's a new kid Anthony, so we'll see how that works out b/c yea the show's tomorrow. According to Tim "The whole thing is one giant Tasmanian cluster-fuck." So eloquent, that Tim. So we'll see how that turns out. On that note, Annie Get Your Gun, FSS auditorium, 7:30, Thurs, Fri, and Sat, I'm pretty sure it is. I'll get back to you on that. Come and see it!

I love days like today. Had my last two midterms this morning, math and chem. Quite worried about both of them, but they were not too bad. I finished chem 45 mins early, so I sat and made on of those scrolling thingys on my calculator. Thank you Texas Instruments for providing me with endless amusement! Now imagine,I did nothing but type x's for 45 mins straight, that scroll was huuuuge. It ran back for like 2 full minutes lol. So that was fun.
Then Christine called and asked if I wanted to go sledding. I haven't been sledding since I was like 4 so I was all set to go. I don't have boots or snow pants anymore so that kinda sucked b/c it was cold as hell (except ya know not b/c that'd be silly) After we'd defrosted for a while, I taught Meaghan to read music, well sorta anyway, and it was cool b/c you feel all accomplished when the person you're explaining to understands. (Maybe that's just me, I dunno, but it's a good feeling.)
Next it was on to crew. Me and Christine had an absolutly hysterical adventure b/c we were early. "Christine, are those our shadows? Err...no. Holy crap ahh!!" *cracks up* I can make a whole wall on my own now, I've got the process memorized haha. So that's at least one thing I can not feel dumb about. Jenny is so funny, she's like I want the cast and crew to get along and everyone to bond. I think that's cool, she's right, there doesn't need to be seperation. We had fun today, hilarity ensued. And now I'm home and my hands are freezing so I'm gonna be done w/ boring everyone and get my gloves. Laterr!

Wicked was wicked....ooh bad joke. But it really was amazing. I enjoyed it sooo much. Before we went it was not a happy afternoon, Nici had an accident, but she's ok thank god, and she still went with us and I think she even had a good time despite everything else, so I was veryvery glad.
Julianne said Wicked rivaled Into the Woods in terms of awesomeness, and that's saying something b/c Into the Woods is her favorite, so yay! For Wicked!!
A million inches of snow fell on Sat. so I just sat around in lots of layers, typing w/ my gloves on. Sunday more of the same. Today, first day of midterms, English was molto facile e non ho avuto dare un esame nella classe di Euro. (<< I wonder if that was right? I have italian tomorrow, can you tell?) Two down, three to go. I have Wed. and Fri. off, yay!! Mmhmm I'm boring, later.

Heyyy! It's really cold. Brrr. Nothing much going on. It's been a pretty good week except for the frigid temperatures. (Frigid is a good word) There's been snow/white crap from salt all over the parking lot all week, so just to review- Number of times we pulled into the wrong space trying to park- Tues: 3 Wed: 2 Thurs: 1.5 (got into the right space but not quite the whole car was in lol) Well, at least we're improving. Tomorrow should be no problem.
Ohh guess what? Two 100s on reading quizzes in Euro. Whatwhat! It's about damn time, I study too much in that class to only be pulling 80s. I hung the quizzes on my refrigerator. :)
Crew today, personally, not my favorite of days, too much standing around for my taste. V. irritating when I don't do anything b/c I hate feeling useless. But that's ok, once we get things going more it'll all be good. Poor Tim is losing his voice, yet he still insists upon yelling at everyone. Crazy Tim, but still, I hope he feels better.
I going to see WICKED tomorrow!! Sooo excited. It's gonna be fuh-reezing, but who even cares b/c I'm going to Wicked!! Wickedwickedwicked! Yay!! Yea, that's all I've got to say.
And no, I'm not kidding about putting the quizzes on the fridge, come see for yourself.

Hello!! Julianne's Sweet 16 was Saturday night. It was so much fun. I think everyone had a good time, but most importantly Julianne did. The candle she did for me was really sweet. She looked beautiful in her dress and the room was all decorated blue and white like she'd been saying since she was about 13. I even looked nice if I do say so myself, haha. Although I'm pretty sure I didn't look good in most of the pics I took. Oh well. And guess what? I even danced, despite the fact that I probably looked like I was having an epileptic seizure b/c of the strobe light that the DJ had on. That's ok though, it was fun. After the party I stayed over Julianne's house and we watched some movies and stuff. In the words of Julianne "That's cute"
Today was a day off-ish. Went into school for stage crew. 'Twas fun. Listened to Wicked and Phantom of the Opera on Mike's super awesome radio. AND he let me drive! Way cool. I was really nervous so I sorta sucked but I could def. be good at it with practice. Yay Mike!! Came home, went to the library, came home again, wrote my rambling raider article, now I'm watching Everwood. God I love this show. It's amazing. If you don't watch it, you should.

Lookit! Pure genius! Guess what? The good weekend did set up for a good week! Well, except that Coffeehouse was cancelled for tonight and I was looking forward to going. But that's ok, it'll be rescheduled, so still yay! And tomorrow's Friday!
There was a ton of snow on Tuesday, but no snow day, which I was actually happy about. Yesterday was tres fun, spaztastic snowball fight w/ Meaghan and Bobby and Neighbor-Kid.
Got a manicure today in preparation for Julianne's Sweet 16 Extravaganza (love that word) on Saturday!! She's been anxiously counting down the days for ohh... 6 months now haha. Then on Friday it'll be time for Wicked!! Oh so excited! Sadly Joey Mcintyre of NKOTB fame just finished his run as Fiyero. Yay New Kids! I wonder who'll be in his place now?
In other news, Meg's hair is super red at the ends. That's what she gets for bleaching the ends of her already blonde hair before putting bright red dye in it. Silly Meg. It looks...interesting. J/k, it takes getting used to though.
Ugg, midterms are coming up, which means I have to pay attention in class all the time. Depressing really. Lord but I'm lazy. That's ok. Ooh, drama has started again! Of course, I'm getting ahead of myself, but I can't wait to see the show! It's so cute! First production meeting is saturday, so coolcool, crew will start again soon as well.
And in other-other news, got my permit in the mail. The pic kinda looks like i might throw up, which I find terribly amusing. Oh well, don't really care. If the snow would hurry up and go away, I'll get to start driving! I know I'm so interesting, but that's all, bye!

Wow, it really throws off your day when you wake up almost at noon. It got late and dark really fast. That's ok though, sleep is good.
To back-track a bit- Happy Birthday Tessa! It was actually on Friday, and she turned 17. But I have my permit before her, I'm awesome! Heh jk. so that's what I did on Friday night, went over to Tessa's to celebrate her b-day. Had Chinese food, Carvel ice cream cake, and watched Troy. Three of Tessa's favorite things lol, so I hope she had a good time. Met Tessa's friend Emily, she thinks I'm quite entertaining, that's cool. Ooh, also Julianne came over after school and I showed her the dress I'm gonna wear for her party. She's so excited about this party. I hope everything goes well.
Yesterday, movie night at Gong's, yay! Me, Gong, Krista, and John got to surprise Ricky and Jenny by just showing up at their doors and whisking them off for an evening of movies and yummy pizza! (Oh wow, sounds really exciting when you put it like that, haha) Watched Napoleon Dynamite, Mean Girls, and Family Guy! Ummm, I guess that's it. Yay for good weekends! Hopefully it sets the tone for the week. G'night!

Hey everyone! Got out of school at 11 today, that was lovely. Hope everyone had a great day off-ish. I wonder whether we'll have a delay tomorrow or something? Truthfully, it was pansy-snow, I don't think we really needed to go home, but hey, I won't argue :) I got to watch some My So-Called Life today which is an awesomeawesome show! Sat around and then did homework and now I'm studying so I don't have to do it all tomorrow, which means maybe I won't suck for once, whatwhat! Nothing too eventful happening. Got into a discussion about time travel today in euro, no idea how, but it's pretty weird, like the idea that changing the tiniest, most unimportant thing could actually have an affect (effect?) on today's world. Of course, having never time-travelled, I don't know if it's true, but it's fun to think about. Any thoughts? Homework finally got done. I'm too lazy. Ridiculous. Bleh, there's supposed to be rain all week. That's yucky. So, no more 2004, Happy 2005!! New Year's Eve was amusing. New Year's Day was nice, Doey and Uncle Ronnie came up for the day for some reason, so that's 3 times in a week we've seen them. That's special. Spent the day being molto depressed about going back to school, but oh well, nothing you can do. I'll be used to it again in no time. Watched Garden State today, which improves the day 100x. That move is great. Everyone should see it. Twice. At the very least. That's all, more once we're back to school.

Soo exciting! Tuesday night, me Meaghan and Christine had the LotR-athon. That's 9 hours -count 'em: NINE- of LotR-y goodness. Oh I'm a dork, yes I am. It was a lot of fun. We didn't get to bed until around 4:30 so I know there were some good quotes and such to put here, but I can't quite remember. "Training diseased lemurs" and other such things. If I can think of others I'll add them on. We had french toast and raspberry smoothies for breakfast, v. awesome. Thanks Meags and family! Hope you didn't die after I left. Heh.
Later I went to get Julianne's Sweet 16 gift and to a movie w/ Andrew. We saw Phantom of the Opera, I liked it a lot. I was worried that it would be bad, but it really wasn't, so yay! GARDEN STATE!! Came out on dvd! And Nici went and got it, woo! So today will be spent doing homework, and lots of it. Hopefully watching Gareden State and ipod-ing. Sadly, in that oder, bleh homework. Oh well. Gonna go start...soon. Later!

Wow, thank god it's vacation!
I have to say, I can't believe the Harry Potter stuff didn't merit any comments. Not one. Oh well.
So I hope everybody's Christmas's went well. Dinner with the family was relatively good. It was still loud and obnoxious because everyone in my family is deaf, but I guess that's tradition, so it's all good. Met Ashley's boyfriend, he seems ok, of course she's only 15 and he's 19, but if she's happy, it's fine, right? Gillian and Michael are so cute, talking about what they asked Santa for and all that. I wish I was a little kid again.
Christmas day was nice, good food, the very surprising gift of an ipod, woo! Oooh so many leftovers. I swear, I'll weigh ten pounds more by the time vacation is over. That's ok though, mmm. Spent the entire day in my pajamas yesterday, doing nothing, watched Bridget Jones' Diary, liked it v. much. That's all. Enjoy vacation, more soon!

Happy 16th Birthday to Me!
I have the coolest friends and sister ever! Not a lot going on. Today was annoying. I was lazy as fuck all weekend and didn't do homework, so I sucked out loud on my global quiz today, I really do think I only got a 1 it. Then chem test, wasn't as bad as I thought, but I still didn't do great. Chem lab, still confused, but w/e. The day got progressively better after that b/c English is awesome, Ricky is v. funny, and Italian class is too. Then I got home and wrapped some Christmas presents, and now I'm all set with Christmas spirit-ness, all I need are some candy canes. It takes very little to make me happy on bleh days like today. I also got to have McDonalds today b/c mia madre was cooking for her work party thingy so yea, that was good.
In case you haven't heard, this year's musical is INTO THE WOODS!!! I got the soundtrack and me and Nici watched the video of when Mr. Powers, Nici's voice teacher and her husband and people were in it at Nyack College, and I really liked, it, so I'm v. excited for that. Everyone come see it in March!!
Ohh I'm so excited to give people their Christmas presents!! I like what I got everyone, yay!! I am just finishing up Meaghan's, then I've gotta get a bunch of candy to add to everyone's gifts and so I can eat it too lol.
Ohh the musical theatre evening with the Rockland Symphony Orchestra was last night. LOVE! So good, sosoo good. Yay!
It's fuh-reeezing out, but no more snow, too bad. Oh well. That's about all to write about.
Giant Holiday Countdown--
11 Days till 2005
5/4 Days till Christmas Day/Eve
2 Days till my birthday
RotK Extended Edition is out!! Today the morning was spent doing homework, then piano lesson, then home and *drumroll* Nicole got accepted to NYU, congrats to her, woo!! Off to the mall, meet up with Meags and Christine. Got nearly all of my Christmas shopping done, and played the Stuff You'd Never Wear game again. Meaghan def. won with this dress that could've been a shirt based on the length, but it wasn't.

Yesterday I went to the backdoor w/ Christine and Ricky and met up w/ her cousins and Denis and Liz and saw random people from school. Interesting to say the least. Ridiculous amount of feedback and the guitar and bass were up higher than the vocals, so the sound wasn't great, but local bands blahblah w/e. Southcott is whoa over rated, but I dunno, not horrible. That all girl band, con amore I think they said their name was, was pretty good. I guess I'd go again b/c it gives me something to do, but I don't fit the dumbass image that goes along with that place, I'm ok with that, but 'people like me' apparently piss off the cool kids.

Hiya, what's going on? Is it just me or is this week feeling about a year long? Oh well. It snowed on Monday, yay!! I said I don't want snow blahblah, but I was still happy looking out the window with everything all white and sparkly. I'm a little kid. :) Bobby was playing football and broke his collarbone. Poor Bobby, get better soon! Football in the snow actually sounds fun, except for the broken collarbone thing. Maybe next time it snows...that or a snowball fight, I haven't had one in forever.
Not much going on, I'm really lazy, it's getting ridiculous really. Oh well again. Such an eventful day yesterday lol. Piano, crew stuff for a lil bit, homework, then off to the mall w/ Alie and Meags. God I miss those girls. Last year was great, 6th per. lunch was awesome. We left the cafe. happy no matter how bad the day had been going b/c we just talked about god knows what all the time. Conversations about poptarts, use of swear words ("I'd tell you to fuck off but I'm trying not to swear" Meags), plays in italiano, just to name a few. Good times, heh. It was good to catch up. We went and ate sesame chicken, mmm and walked around. We played the Try on Stuff You'd Never Wear game in American Eagle, Abercrombie, Hollister, and Forever 21. Quite entertaining. We saw a cutoff skirt where the front pockets were hanging out from the bottom of it. That's not enough skirt dude.
I wanna go back to the mall and get my holiday shopping done. And I need a pair of jeans. I want some orange juice, so the end.

First off, 98 Degrees=awesome!! Yay for christmas!
Ok then, moving on, this week's been boring so far, not much of note. Things we've learned this week: I'm awful at basketball, but its almost over so that's good. George Orwell is kinda nuts but that's ok. Same with Steven Hawking. No matter how old I get, the tree lighting in Rockerfeller Center is always a happy event. So yea, now what you've all been waiting for, I'm sure, the start of December means *drumroll* The return of Sami's Giant Holiday Countdown!!!
30 Days till 2005
24/23 Days till Christmas Day/Eve
21 Days till my birthday
13 Days till RotK Extended Edition (I believe anyway. This weekend definitely wasn't long enough. I didn't get to do Mental Health Day with Meaghan, blehness.
How was everyone's Thanksgiving? Mine was pretty good, lots of food, can't go wrong there. Mmm dessert, gotta love it. Gillian and Michael came and we played the tickle monster game. They're cute.
Friday, Saturday, and today were v. boring. Did sooo much hw, but finally it's all done, go me! Hung out w/ Tessa on Friday, that was fun. And Saturday was mom's fiftieth birthday so we went to dinner. Eventful, no?
On the bright side, only four weeks till xmas break. Ugh that's so far away. Ewwie and rainy all day, bleh.
Half day, but it still felt oddly long. That whole fast/slow thing again. Bleh I wish I could figure out what that's all about. Anyway, Adam, Kevin and Steve came into math and sang their Oregon Trail song today. So entertaining. After school we were planning on going to brunch with Gong, but then she didn't have her car so she couldn't come. Wound up going to the diner with some people anyway. Too bad Gong couldn't come though. HI GONG! Came home and then went to the mall w/ William, Tara, and Nici to see The Polar Express. I was _not_ impressed. Meh. Wasn't horrible, but I dunno, just wasn't good. And just because a karaoke singing scene works at the end of Shrek, does NOT mean it works in every movie. It especially doesn't work with elves who look like Steven Tyler. But Tara loved the movie, probably because she's jewish. She wants to see it again tomorrow. Crazy. The lesson of the day is, no matter what mood you're in, a canoli can only improve the situation.

Heyahey! Updating at the request of Gong, even though I haven't got much to say. Last week was boring...I think anyway. Nothing really sticks out in my mind so I'm guessing it was nothing special. Lots of homework, blahblahblah.
On Saturday I heard Rockin' Around the Christimas Tree on the radio. It's only Nov. 22, it's...too soon for that. That got me thinking, and it's weird, like I feel like everything's going really fast and really slow at the same time. I dunno why I'm feeling like that, quite odd. Also strange that just a song on the radio can trigger so much thinking. Bleh. Tired of thinking, I can't wait for break. Speaking of which, only 1 and a half days till loooong weekend, whatwhat!
*GASP* Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is out on video/DVD tomorrow!!! I'm so excited! *quirky little victory dance* Ohh special, haven't done that in a while.

Ooh, in Italian today, me and Steve were playing the Nici-inspired 'Who Can Take Who in a Fight' game. The best was Mrs. Sheard vs. Mrs. Pacheco Any thoughts?

Hellohello! It's been a while, so didja miss me, didja? Apparently not.
Well, lots of stuff has happened since last post, but here are the high points.
On Nov...7 I think it was, was the last marching band competition of the season, championships in Allentown. It was a lot of fun. I really worked my smiling muscles too, go me! We got a score of 83.3, one of the highest NR has ever received I think. It was an improvement from last competition, so that's awesome. Color guard score went up by 4 or 5 points, whatwhat! Mixed feelings about the end of the season. It was a good experience, I'm glad I joined. Having time to actually get all my stuff done will be nice (...who am I kidding, I'm not gonna do my hw anyway, lol), but I am gonna miss all the Fieldstone people who I don't get to see all the time now. Oh and I've gotta say, the party before the competition was great. Gotta love karaoke. I macarena-d for the first time in years, quite entertaining. Oh yes, you read right, be afraid, be very afraid.
This past week was production week for the straight play. Rehearsal every night and then on Thurs. morning, but it was a lot of fun. There's no set and no one goes offstage so there's not much to do backstage. Makes time for interesting conversations and that kinda thing. Thursday after rehearsal me and Nici went for McDonalds, mmm lol. Which leads to "Nugget me" -Nicole. Then we went to see Jen's dog, Modo. He's soooo adorable. He's all tiny and hyper like Spanky was when he was little. We come home and who d'we find but Tom and Eric ringing our doorbell. So then I spent an interesting afternoon with them two, Tim, and Mike. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday were the performances, and they were awesome!! It was hysterical and people responded really well. Congratulations everybody! Thanks to Tim, Joe, and Fiesta Cancun for letting the drama club invade this weekend.
Yesterday was quite blah, I don't know why really. I just wish stuff would stop being so difficult. On a happier note, Wicked=awesome and so does Everwood. I want Ephram to be my piano teacher... And if he decides to be the father of my children as well, so be it, who am I to say no? Heh.

Hey there! Columbia journalism conference today.
Super cool b/c I didn't have to go to regular school today. Also super cool b/c I got to go to a few different writing workshops and walk around the Columbia campus. Well at least part of it. It was really nice there.
Interesting fact courtesy of Alyssa: The reason the Columbia campus has so much grass even though it's in the city is because a part of the Ghostbusters movie was filmed there, and they decided to put the money towards grass and trees and stuff. No one thought the movie would be as successful as it was so Columbia wound up with a crapload of grass. Just in case you were wondering.
First we went to a workshop about looking at stories from all different angles, then to one about writing humor columns, Def. my favorite. The guy was really funny (makes sense since he does stand-up, right?) and he spent most of the time talking about how effective punctuation can be. Then we went to lunch at The West End. Sadly we missed one of the sessions, which was one I really wanted to go to on the basics of a good news article, but maybe next year or in the spring if I go w/ the yearbook. Next was a seminar about writing on controversial issues. It's crazy what some schools can get away with publishing. Last was how to conduct a successful interview, which was good for me b/c I'm socially inept and hate talking to people. Sadly, you can't get by w/o eye contact no matter how much you hate it. The whole conference was a good experience, hopefully I can go again sometime and go to the other workshops I was interested in.
Came home thinking I could have some free time finally, but no, still a million things to do even though I didn't go to any classes. Silly me and my procrastination b/c I finally have to do the math assignment I've had for a month b/c it's due Wed. Bleh. Almost done so that's good. Just mb practice tomorrow so hopefully I can do something fun. yay! Gotta love election day!

Hellohello! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! Halloween is amazing, I've always loved it. I act like such a little kid, it's ridiculous really, but that's ok. Hopefully everything will get worked out. I'm too dumb/freakin lazy for AP so I'm really gonna have to start devoting an insane amount of time to studying for Euro. Bleh. I owe huge thank yous to a bunch of people, who must be so sick of hearing me talk out the same thing.
On the bright side, all my hw is done and I get to go the the journalism conference at Columbia tomorrow, so that'll be cool. Yea, that's all so I'm out.

Wow, two posts in a weekend, exciting.
Did homework and went over Eric's, that's about all for today.
Just tried to order the tickets I want for my birthday. Had two different sets of tickets on the screen and managed to order the wrong ones. Royally pissed off now, but hopefully the order will be able to be changed. And I put the wrong mailing address because I wasn't paying attention, but I know for sure I was able to correct it, thank goodness. This is exactly why I always used to make Nicole do anything that involved a computer instead of doing it myself. If I'm lucky it'll work out though.
Bleh school tomorrow, v. depressing.
On the bright side of things, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets has been on all weekend! And we got new couches for downstairs with recliners so I can be extremely lazy! Nothing much going on. Well actually, a lot of stuff going on, but not much to post here. School is school, I'm freaking about Euro b/c I'm just insane, so Denis is trying to get me to be not crazy, so he's awesome. _Finally_ done with that English project and almost with Fahrenheit 451. Ceramics is whoa fun even if Mr. Roff is craaaaazy.
Marching band is almost over, today was a play-off game against Ramapo and NR won 40-8 i think it was, so that's cool. We play the _other_ NR next weekend, New Rochelle and everyone is thinking our team will lose to them, so we'll see how that turns out.
Stage crew for Love of a Pig is gonna get started soon, not much to do b/c there's practically no set, but its a lot of lighting stuff, so that'll be cool to see, everyone come!
Since today's game was NRHS's pseudo-homecoming game, there was the ceremony for the ROTC, football, and marching band seniors. The mb kids got their first carnation of the year (seniors wear red carnations to music events for the school)and Nici was like wow and I was like *tear.* It's gonna be really sad when Nicole goes to college. But of course there's the whole rest of the year to get through before that happens, so just gotta make it to the end. At the rate I'm going, what with saying I quit school 3-4 times a day, I'm not gonna make it, lol. So that's about all for now. I know I'm boring, but I'm losing feeling in my fingers so that's enough typing.

Guess what today is?!

...

It's the one year anniversary of the blog. I'm awesome though b/c I just happened to remember that this thing got started last October and I checked the archives and guess what the date of my first long boring post was? That's right, October 18, 2003. Trippy.

Here it is ladies and gentlemen, the long overdue update from Sami! Now don't get too excited there. B/c I'm sure you've all been on the edge of your seat waiting for the wedding recap, I'm just gonna start from Friday. Also b/c if anything happened between last post and then...I don't remember so w/e. And so, let the madness begin! We get home after "getting stuck behind a bus" for 45 mins while Nici gave people rides home and we get yelled at for being late. But w/e, the family gets ready and we leave, we get to the rehearsal and...no one's there. We were told 6 when it really started at 6:15, but it actually didn't get underway till like 6:45. So of course mom was pissed about that. We rehearse with a "substitute priest" b/c the one that's doing the actual wedding isn't around. V. funny b/c he spoke w/ a heavy accent and my whole family is deaf. He yelled at Uncle Ronnie for chewing gum in church, it was great. Meanwhile my family is crazy and everyone's bitching at each otehr, in the CHURCH mind you. Ok so fast forward to the part where everyone walks out after the ceremony, it turns out that one of the ushers wound up moving to Guam on the spur of the moment or something, and surprisesurprise, me and Nici are _sharing_ an usher. B/c in case you weren't clear on this, my sister and I are in fact the same person w/ different haircuts. And it's definitely a statement of some sort b/c guess what? We (the two girls who don't like like stick figure models in the uglyass bridesmaid dresses) are paired with the fat guy. Well, how about that? Then we move on to the restaurant which is another issue b/c of seating arrangements, which is a regular occurence, not only b/c of the wedding. Me and Nici are stuck away from the other cousins who are our ages, so we have no one to talk to but each other, as usual when it comes to family gatherings. It's funny b/c I'd actually rather the older ones DIDN'T make the effort to talk to us because that only makes it more awkward, but w/e. Food wasn't good which is an issue b/c we're all fat people, so bleh. Mom complains about us having to both be w/ the same usher, I tell her it's only one day, it's not worth getting upset on our behalf for something that isn't a huge deal, I get yelled at for trying to make her feel better. Brilliant.
Sunday- The Big Day That We've Been Hearing About For Two Friggin' Years is finally here. We are forced to wake up at 6:30 so we can go get our hair and make-up done at 8:30 for a wedding that isn't even until 3 in the afternoon. Like 4 hours and a crapload of money later, I look about the same, but for my hair being teased and my lungs being coated in hairspray. Go back to my cousin's house but on THE DRESS *dum dum DUM* and am pissed b/c apparently mine is the only dress that didn't get taken in where it needed to be so it looks more stupid than it should, which is hard to begin with. Fast forward through a bunch of minor freak outs filled with a wide array of four letter words (surprisingly not from me lol) and the coach shows up at the apartment. I kid you not when I tell you it was a pumpkin shaped, jeweled and sparkly horse-drawn Cinderella coach, driven by a guy wearing tassels and a floppy hat. Then, it gets better, the carriage driver announces their arrival saying crap like And now the renowned Princess Christine and Queen Marie! No frickin joke here. It was a nice ceremony and all that, I'm happy for Christine and Jay, but still maybe it's just cause I'm mean, but I totally don't get crying at weddings. Like I know tears of joy, but I dunno, just doesn't work for me. Blahblahblah, everyone is still tense and complaining at the reception, just lovely. Me and Nici _still_ have no one to talk to but each other. Lots of drinking ensues. Even my cousin who just turned 15 is drinking cosmopolitans in plain view of people who know she's not 21 yet, namely everyone in the room. Meanwhile Nicole and me try to be the good ones and don't drink and just sit around and be bored. Except for when we danced and everyone praised our extreme talent. No, wait that didn't happen, we went and "danced" with the little cousins, probably the only other sober people in the room (ages 10 and 5 in case you were curious as to why they weren't going along w/ everyone else). Finally reach the end of the party, after lots of lovely desserts, by far my favorite part of the whole event, and we go to the hotel we are staying at until Mon morning when all this will finally be over. Follow my mom up to the room where she puts the key card in and beats on the door handle, but the door still won't open, lather, rinse, and repeat the process a few times. Guess what, we're trying to get into the wrong room. Go to the right room, mom complains some more but swears she's not angry at anyone. Go to sleep, wake up, go to breakfast, say hello and goodbye to everyone in the family, but nothing else. Get in the car, listen to my mom complain most of the way home. Pick up Spanky, poor spanky, he had to stay over night w/ my moms friend, he must've been completely crazy b/c he's so ocd, it's ridiculous. Go home, do h/w, go to sleep.
Get up, go to school, go to crew, go to marching band, call mom, mom's pissed therefore go back to crew. Call to get picked up, and there's no answer. My mom didn't want me to stay in the first place but yet she doesn't answer the phone in order to bring me home, smart right? Tim drives me home, yay for Tim! I can't wait until I can drive so I don't have to mooch off people anymore and I can feel happy b/c I get to help out people the way older people help me out w/ rides now. Actually a lot of my rides come from my sister, who's kinda obligated to drive me around, but still, I can indirectly make it up to her for driving me places all the time. It's karma or something lol. Anyway, I get home, get complained at for staying late, do hw, go to bed, get up, go to school. Swim in gym, walk around smelling like my backyard in the summer all day. I guess the chlorine smell is something you get used to, eh Meag? Come home, do hw, and now I'm here. Damn, school is pretty monotonous. That was even boring to type, so if you've made it this far, cookies for you! Speaking of cookies, Andrew the coolest person ever has once again proved just how cool he is by baking cookies in honor of the wedding being over.
Let's see, what else happened today? ERB, stupid topic led to stupid essay. Fire drill in the middle so we all helped each other out on it, good stuff. W/e though that test reflects on the school, and not me as an individual, so hey guess what I don't care. But on the bright side, tomorrow will be my last ever ERB day! Stuff and other stuff and talked to Tessa. Arg and a half. Today was just an irritating day for a lot of people I've talked to. I think we should rewind and have everyone do today over again, only better. Who's with me?
Guess where my dad is right now that I'm not? If you guessed that he's in one of the really super nice private boxes at Yankee Stadium, you'd be right. That's so cool, but b/c I don't get to go, I am personally blaming my dad if the Yankees lose the game tonight, lol. Oh, I heart Mariano Rivera b/c it was really great of him to be so dedicated and come back from the funeral he was at to pitch the end of last night's game, and win it! Chem test tomorrow so I'm off! Goodness this was long, sorry about that.

Red Pens
That's just a link to an article about the thing with the red pens that I mentioned the other day, url compliments of Meag, thanks.
So September is over, only 9 months of school left, woo! Halfway through the 1st qtr is on Fri. I think.
This weekend was all filled with marching band. Rehearsal and game against Clarkstown North on Saturday. NR won I think 40-something to 6, so that was cool. Halftime went pretty well. Then today was *drumroll* our first competition of the season! My first one ever. It was pretty cool, the other bands are way more responsive than the football crowds and we got a lot of compliments. A college band from Virginia I think, played today and they were amazing. Our band did extremely well, *clears throat* We won 2nd PLACE, BEST MUSIC, and BEST PERCUSSION!!!!! Congrats guys, keep it up. Since we won, today was my first exposure to 'the chain gang.' My God but that's the funniest/creepiest thing I've ever seen. Everyone else was watching and looking like wtf? Quite entertaining. Today was a really good day, but now I've gotta spoil it by finishing my homework. Nothing interesting happening right now. Reading Fahrenheit 451, it's boring.
It rained a ton yesterday so mb attempted to work on the drill inside, didn't go so well lol. First competition is on Sunday so it'll be interesting to see what goes down lol. Not that anyone cares but freakin hilarious moment from yesterday.
Christine: I wanna run in the rain but I need someone to come with me.
Mike: Sam, will you go run in the rain?
Me: Ok
*Both of us take off running...in opposite directions*
It was so funny, it couldn'tve been better if we planned it. I dunno maybe you had to be there.
I was sad yesterday I was all proud of my essay on the Renaissance, then I got it back full of red marks and I had to fix it. I used to think that Mrs. Sigillo was crazy b/c she used green pen b/c she'd read somewhere that the red pen was like too harsh for students and intimidated them or something to that effect. Maybe she was right about something (for once) b/c I felt kinda dumb when I got it back all marked up, considering I thought it was good. I dunno, just an observation.

Hey, sorry for no updates but this week's been kinda crazy. First full week and all. Pretty much did nothing all week- school, marching band, homework etc. No need to recap the whole week, not much happened. Newspaper, didn't get the position I wanted b/c I'm only a sophmore but hey there's always next year. Marching band, North Rockland won Thursday's game against Maronack or something like that, I spelled it like it sounds, w/e. Like 21-0 or something around there. Lids went pretty well, but the routine for Cheeseburger in Paradise was kinda icky. oh well, we'll get it. Dance started up today so I was excited. All the dances and stuff totally come back when we get started and it was nice. Danielle grew a whole ton, and she's like my height now and only in the 7th grade, haha. My mom was in a bad mood today blah di blah. She was mad at me right from when i got home from school, which I couldn't figure out at all b/c the only thing I'd said to her from 7 this morning was Hi what's up? and D'you think you could do me a big favor and bring my gym clothes home for me? Then she was annoyed b/c she asked when my english project was due and I said as soon as we can get it done b/c we were having a problem getting info and Armida said to just turn it in as soon as we were done. I can _totally_ see how that would really piss her off. Anyway blahblahblah w/e other reasons, but mostly cause she's crazy.
Went over Christine's for a little bit, then at like 20 to 10 my mom said that my dad was coming to pick me up at 10 so I just said ok, figuring that she was already mad, and there must be some sort of reason she wanted me home at 10 (there wasn't). Then I thought well I only wanna stay another half hour so what's the difference and I called to see if it was ok. My dad was already on his way so nbd. Came home when she asked without complaint and somehow I managed to be in trouble anyway. "Why didn't you ask to stay if you were doing something? I dunno, I assumed that you were sending dad for me at 10 b/c that's when you wanted me home. Why do you always have to assume things?" See that's why normally I don't bother to consider her reaction b/c she's just unreasonable anyway. Whatever no one needed to hear that. Urg.
Piano tomorrow, barely practiced this week b/c I've been busy trying to cram my head full of everything in the chapter for Euro book quizzes.
