Yay summer! There's been way too much rain for my tastes lately, but eh.
Fireworks are fun, as is no work at my nonjob for Fourth of July. Been doing mostly nothing lately, which is nice, but about as exciting as it sounds. I saw Cars! I thought it was good. Kids movie, but also with jokes for those of us only pretending to be kids. Work is boring, but there are worse things I could be doing, so not complaining. No barbecue or anything planned for tomorrow. Tessa goes to Europe on Wednesday, I wish I were going! Ahh!
Yankee game on Saturday. Quite a loss to the Mets, but a nice day nonetheless. Hot and sunny, but not unbearable, and we were under the upper deck so it was shady. A few of those foul balls made me nervous, but luckily no black eyes. Just a few feet away from being on the jumbo-tron (I've always wanted to use that word. Is that actually what they call it in real life?), but we managed to avoid the camera. It was fun to watch the people on screen and then pick them out in the real crowd. Maybe that was only me though. Yay!
